The Charges: Animal Cruelty and Child Neglect

Osby faces serious charges for mistreating both animals and children. Investigators say she kept animals in her backyard without enough food, water, or care. This is a clear violation of Brevard County laws that protect animals from abuse.

But the charges don’t stop there. Osby also faces child neglect charges. She reportedly made her children break up a dangerous dog fight in her yard. This put the children at risk of injury and exposed them to emotional harm. It’s a sad example of how vulnerable individuals, both animals and children, were put in harm’s way.

A Month-Long Search: How Brevard County Authorities Found Osby
Osby had been on the run since an arrest warrant was issued last month. After weeks of searching, Brevard County law enforcement officials located her at a motel in Vero Beach. While the arrest brings some relief, the investigation continues to uncover more details about her actions.
